Three Spires Morris
We are a women’s North West Morris side based in the city of Lichfield in Staffordshire. The side was formed in 1982, and took its name from the three spires which are an iconic feature of Lichfield Cathedral. During the summer months we dance out at local pubs and events in and around the Lichfield and Midlands area. June 2012 saw the side celebrating its 30th Anniversary with many good friends from local Morris sides. A definite highlight for our 30thAnniversary year was the opportunity to dance in August at the Shrewsbury Folk Festival.
Penny Royal Garland Dancers
Pennyroyal Garland Dancers was formed in Leicestershire in 1981 by a group of enthusiastic dancers. We are based in the lovely historic town of Ashby de la Zouch and perform not only in the neighbouring counties but also as far afield as Yorkshire, Devon, Kent, Belgium, Holland and France. Garland dancing is based on English Folk Dance traditions, the dance patterns being echoed in our brightly coloured flowered Garlands forming a spectacular display. Traditional folk music of jigs, reels and hornpipes played on a variety of instruments including accordion, violin, guitar, recorder, banjo, and concertina accompany the dances.
Ripley Green Garters
A garland of green; A click of a clog; A glimpse of a garter. It must be Ripley Green Garters, still dancing after 30 years! These days though, you may find us on the hunt for tea shops as opposed to ales.
Our displays feature both traditional and contemporary NW Morris, exploring our roots in the World Heritage Site of the Derbyshire Derwent Valley Mills.
New dancers and musicians are warmly welcomed and the only requirement is the ability to put one foot in front of the other and smile a lot.

Ryknild Rabble
Ryknild Rabble have been dancing their eclectic mix of Border Morris, Rapper and Step Clog for over 20 years now. We perform at local events, at festivals all over the country and have been known to travel abroad. The performances are lively and colourful, with the border morris rag jackets of many colours. The team’s distinctive feature is their famous yellow socks.
