Bollin Morris

Bollin Morris are mixed team of both Men and Women based in Lymm, Cheshire in the UK. The team was started in 1974 as a revival the old Altrincham Norris team from the early 1900’s. Bollin Morris dance in a style known as Border Morris, the Border being the boundary of England and Wales. Some of our dances are traditional, and some are newer dances either choreographed by ourselves or other Border Morris sides. The team have 20 different dances and often include some audience participation in the performances where space and time permits. The team dance at school and village fetes, pubs and festivals. Our costumes are a mixture of blues with flashes of other colours to represent the colours of the River Bollin. As with most border morris teams we have tatter jackets, and usually some coloured faces.
New members either dancers or musicians are always welcome to join. Our website is  where our list of events is available for anyone who wants to see us dance.
