Bustmove Leeds – Juniors
Bustamove Leeds is a Hip Hop dance school run by Marie ‘Petit Filou’ Mathias & Chris ‘BankC’ Banks. The school focusses on the traditional styles of Hip Hop rather than commercial.
Marie & Chris perform regularly in Breaking Tradition’s shows and are in the Cast of The Lock In ‘Christmas Carol’ 2023
Their junior crew will be opening the show on 9th December
Cadi Jones: Street/Clog Fusion
Cadi Jones: 13 year old dancer from Oxfordshire. Cadi has been learning street dance for over 7 years. She is a member of Step 2 Dance School senior competition squad (Oxford). Alongside street, Cadi also learns contemporary and commercial dance.
Since the age of 8, Cadi has been learning Welsh Clog Dancing with her father, Sam Jones. This traditional form of step, originating from industrial times involves the use of a wooden soled clog. Cadi has learnt the traditional movements and has also started to construct her own unique steps. Sam, her father has been clog dancing for over 30 years and is known for his unique step creations.
Cadi’s routine sees her fuse Street with Welsh Clog, to contemporary R and B dance music. The routine has been co-choreographed by Cadi and her father and is their first attempt to fuse the two styles!
