Peterborough Morris “Jigs Crew”

Peterborough Morris perform traditional English dances in the Cotswold style. They regularly appear at pubs, festivals and events in the local ara, and occasionally further afield. The Cotswold morris tradition is based on dances and tunes collected from towns and villages in the south midlands. But for one night we will be know as the Peterborough Jigs Crew. Performing jigs from the Cotswold traditions of Bampton, Fieldtown, and many more. Our jigger is one half of the double jig winners at the Sidmouth Jigs Competition 2018. We hope to show vigour and energy whist still portraying the best technique is the Fens.
